Once you’re settled in we highly recommend taking in all the restaurants and shops. And no shopping trip to Mahone Bay would be complete without a visit to the world-renowned Amos Pewter Store. Originally constructed back in 1880 for boat building – their signature teal and sea blue coloured shop is now home to their skilled craftspeople plus a well-stocked gift shop up front. You can call ahead for a free guided tour or visit their interpretive workshop where their talented artisans demonstrate their craft.
