Nova Scotia's South Shore Christmas Crawl

Celebrate Christmas Crawl

Mark your calendars and make your plans to celebrate the SEAson here on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Our Christmas Crawl sprawls all the way from Peggy’s Cove to Barrington with tons of festive fun to fill your days and nights from November right through to the New Year.

We have oodles of annual festivities like the illumination of Barrington’s Lobster Pot Tree, Christmas on the LaHave, Chester Village Christmas, the Christmas Parade of Lights in Bridgewater and so many more.

You can join in the merriment of the many community tree lighting ceremonies and sing-along concerts, or perhaps you’d find a Polar Dip more pleasing. We’ve got plenty of those too.

South Shore Special Stuff Christmas Tree Capital

We’re the “Balsam Fir Christmas Tree Capital of the World” so why not grab the gang and head out to chop your own tree. And after that – you can shop for all the gifts on your list from our wonderful stores, galleries and the dozen Community Craft Fairs, Christmas Sales and Holiday Farmers’ Markets.

Celebrate Christmas Crawl Sip and Savour

Be sure to make time to sip and savour the very best of all things festive at our restaurants and spirited spots here along the South Shore. There you’re sure to find all kinds of merry menu items and so many reasons to toast to the season.

Celebrate Christmas Crawl spots to stay

There’s so much to see and celebrate during our Christmas Crawl – you can come for the day or hunker down for the holidays at one of our sweet and cozy spots to stay, complete with seasonal specials and overnight packages to make your time here on the South Shore oh so merry and bright.
