Showcase Market MORE ON THE SHORE!
We’re so excited to announce a brand new initiative. One that encapsulates so much of what makes Nova Scotia’s South Shore such an amazing corner of the planet. It’s called Nova Scotia’s South Shore Showcase Market and features a stellar selection of vendors along with our terrific team of tourism partners.
And our goal is a simple one – we want to share (and yes SHOW OFF) our incredible creativity and craftsmanship, our awesome artistry, our remarkable history, and well… everything engaging and delightful and delicious about the South Shore.
The composition and number of vendors will vary from event to event depending on the venue but rest assured we’ll squeeze in as many as we’re able to together with area specialists from all of the communities that make up our lovely region. And we’ll always put a special spin on each event so you can be certain to find something new to celebrate with each and every Showcase Market.
Case in point our very first MORE ON THE SHORE during the 2023 Chester Race Week where in addition to our Showcase Marketeers we’ll be featuring live entertainment in the bandstand, face painting, contests and much more! We sure hope you can join us for all the fun!
Place: Chester’s Parade Square (right beside the Chester Yacht Club, across the street from the Lido Pool and just a stroll away from the Chester Village Merchants and sweet sweet Frida’s Beach)

We’ve also teamed up with the great folks at the Mahone Bay Music Association who will fill Chester’s Bandstand with some stellar sounds. Plus we’ll have face-painting, a balloon twister and so much MORE!
