South Shore Farmers Markets

Farmers Markets

The land, the sea, the people. Those are the threads – woven together over centuries to create that one-of-a-kind tapestry known as Nova Scotia’s South Shore. That fantastic fabric is on full display at our Farmers Markets – where artists and artisans set up beside fishermen and florists and yes – farmers too. Where candy makers, bountiful bakers and coffee purveyors reward you with wonderful aromas and incredible flavours. Where the creativity of our craftspeople captivates you and the sweet sounds of music move you and the community… well now, that’s the best part of all.

Visit our Farmers Markets and you’ll truly find yourself ‘living like the locals,’ falling into conversations and feeling very much at home. And every market is as unique as the town and village in which it’s based so be sure to shop at as many as you’re able so you won’t miss any of the magic.

While most of our Markets run from early May to late October, some are open all year round and most celebrate the festive season with a Holiday Market during late November and December.
