ALL THAT NATURE and MORE!
We here on Nova Scotia’s South Shore are so incredibly proud to be the home of Keji! That’s the all-encompassing nickname we’ve given the breathtaking corner of the planet otherwise known as Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site. As for what makes Keji so special – well with over 404 square kilometres (156 square miles) of luscious land and sparking waters – there’s all that nature and more! Indeed when it comes to Keji – whether you go for a day or a longer stay there are so many ways to take it all in.
You can stroll through the woods for some much needed Forest Bathing – it’s great for your health you know?! You can traverse the incredible systems of trails – on foot or on wheels. You can take to the waters for a swim or a paddle – no matter your preference it’s a refreshing perspective. With a visit to Kejimkujik Seaside you can enjoy the Atlantic at its best – with turquoise waters and lagoons along with white sand beaches and an awesome assortment of sea life. And while any day spent at Keji is a great one – we highly recommend taking in some of those starry nights too. Nestled in nature, the night skies above Keji are nothing short of spectacular.
And if you’re already here for those constellations… we highly recommend a sleepover. Keji welcomes you to overnight it from May to October with every kind of camping available.
