We’ve come a long way since the first settlers arrived way back in the 1700s but you can be sure in the centuries that passed we’ve never forgotten those who came before us here on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Those who farmed the land and fished the seas, those who built our villages and formed the communities we call home.
It’s a history and heritage we appreciate and celebrate throughout our marvellous museums, during our many history festivals, throughout our storied architecture and must-see monuments.
