Lighthouses
Lighthouses have always stood as a beacon. A steady guide for shipping vessels, a signal of hope for wayward ships. They are the loyal lights for seafarers and lovely landmarks for visitors and locals alike.
And while there’s much to marvel at from our blue Atlantic waters, there are plenty of ways to experience them all as you travel along our legendary Lighthouse Route. Take a trip along the winding stretch as it hugs the coastline from Peggy’s Cove at the tip all the way south to Woods Harbour.
You’ll find the complete list of our lighthouses below. Please note that some are accessible by car, while others can only be accessed on foot.
